POLICIES

LATE POLICY

We do not allow more than 5 minute late entry to our classes for safety reasons, no exceptions. We release booked spots to waitlisters who have showed up to class 2 minutes prior to class starting. If you are running late, you can call or text the studio phone: 615-580-7630 and let us know you are on your way and we will not release your spot.

NO SHOW & CANCELLATION POLICY

If you have not checked in with the front desk 2 minutes prior to class start time, your spot will be given to a fellow client off of the waitlist in order of arrival at the studio.

CANCELLATIONS

You must cancel your class 8 hours or more prior to the class start time in order to unreserve your spot & return the unused class to your account. Once your spot is cancelled, your class will be returned to your account for use at a future date. If you late cancel 8 hours or less prior to the class start time, you will be charged a $10 fee to your credit card on file and your class will be returned to your account. All late cancel fees will automatically be charged to your credit card on file. If you late cancel within an hour before class the system recognizes this as a “no show” but you will only be charged the $10 late cancel fee. If your card is declined, we have the right to suspend your membership until your card is up to date. If you had a legitimate emergency or unforeseen circumstance pop up and were not able to attend your reserved class, please print out this Refund Request form, fill out and turn into the front desk for consideration.

NO SHOWS

If you do not show up to class and do not cancel on the app or website, you will be charged a $15 no show fee. Your class will be credited back to your account for future use. All no show fees will automatically be charged to your credit card on file. If your card is declined we have the right to suspend your membership until your card is up to date. If you had a legitimate emergency or unforeseen circumstance pop up and were not able to attend your reserved class, please print out this Refund Request form, fill out and turn into the front desk for consideration.

WAITLIST POLICY

If you are on the waitlist and want to show up to class and try to get in, please check in with the font desk staff when you arrive and they will let you know if a spot opens up! Waitlist management is automated by Zingfit, so please only add yourself to a waitlist if you are confident you can make the class. You will be notified by email or push notifications on your GB App if a spot opens and you’re enrolled the class (make sure to subscribe to our emails or enable push notifications in your app or you will not know when you get into class from a waitlist). It is your responsibility to check your email or app to see if you've been added to the class. You can be added to the class up until one hour before class begins. If you are added to the class and no show, you will still be charged a no show fee since there are people on the waitlist behind you that wanted to get in. Treat a waitlist spot just like you're booked for class because you MOST LIKELY will get in, even if you were 20th on the waitlist. If you know you won't be able to make it, simply take your name off the waitlist with no penalty. If you book multiple classes or waitlist multiple classes, you are solely responsible for cancelling your classes within the bounds of the cancellation policy. GB staff will not be held responsible for accidental bookings by clients or double bookings or double waitlisted classes made by clients. Late cancel and no show fees apply if you do not cancel within the bounds of the cancellation policy for double bookings. The system will auto populate clients into class from the waitlist as other clients with confirmed spots cancel and bikes and spots will be assigned as such. GB staff will add waitlisted clients in the order in which they arrive at the studio 2 minutes before the start of class.

WALK INS

You can walk in, but you must already have an account via the GB app. You MUST have already created an account and purchased classes to participate. Reserved spots will be released 2 minutes prior to class starting and given to waitlisted participants. Classes and waitlists may appear full throughout the week but day of class, people cancel and spots become available. It is worth it to show up and perhaps snag a spot because even though our schedule appears full all week, there are usually a few spots open at the time of class.

SWITCHING CLASS TIMES

There's NO switching within the 8 hour window because the spot you’ve reserved has been held for some time and prevented someone else from getting into the time you’re booked. Day of, if you see open spots in another class but you’re already booked for a different class, please contact us at hello@garagebarre.com or call the studio before switching or you WILL be charged the late cancel or no show fee from the other class you had reserved. We may be able help you out, depending on available space, if it's a special circumstance.

CYCLE SHOE POLICY

We have a very strict external cleated cycle shoes rule. Any cycle shoe with a cleat on that goes beyond the bottom of the cycling shoe (including our rental shoes) are NOT ALLOWED on ANY surface inside Garage Barre + Bike other than our bike studio floor (the black rubber mat) or the carpet located just outside the bke studio for your safety. That type of shoe MUST be put on at your bike or on the carpet outside the studio and removed when exiting the bike studio including any trips to the bathroom or back to your locker. NO EXCEPTIONS. There are clearly marked signs at the exits. This is for your safety to prevent you from slipping, and it is also to protect the surface of our floors and to protect our shoes and cleats. Cleats are NOT meant to be walked on (or tap danced on). We have sneaker style cycle shoes available for purchase at the front desk and these may be worn on ANY surface!

WEARING CYCLE SHOES YOU DIDN’T RENT OR PURCHASE FROM US

Amazon is cool for a lot of things but not so much for cycle shoes. Often times the shoes and cleats are cheap and don’t fit our pedals properly. It’s WORTH it to purchase your shoes from us because cleats come free with purchase and we install the cleats properly custom to your foot. Also, if you’ve installed your own cleats, please be sure they are tight enough for your safety and to protect our pedals. You can always have our staff tighten your cleats before class just to be sure they are on secure. If your cleats come off and get stuck in our pedals, the pedals can risk breakage and we will be down a bike for future classes. You may be charged a $200 pedal replacement and installation fee.
