We suggest a rest day in between each time you take a build class for optimal results. The class ends in a foam rolling recovery ansd stretch.

+ Are the classes for all levels?

All class are designed with the mindset that "There's room for everyone at the barre" and "EveryBODY can bike". We offer modifications in all classes.

+ What should I wear?

For Barre: Comfy activewear (nothing super loose though as it can hinder movements and we want to make sure you're form is on target!) Most of us go barefoot but you can wear sticky socks if your tootsies get cold or sweaty or your athletic shoes if you have any foot issues such as plantar faciitis. Please do not wear regular socks - they are too slippery and could cause injury.

For Bike: Any type of athletic clothing that you feel comfortable in is suitable, although we suggest pants that fit tight at the ankles and fabrics that are sweat wicking. Men must wear a shirt during class. We also require indoor cycling shoes with LOOK DELTA or SPD cleats. We have limited sizes available for rent at the front desk for $2 (sizes ladies 5.5 - men’s 13). All New Babe Special holders get complimentary shoe rental.

For Bounce: Comfy athletic wear (nothing super loose as it can hinder movements). A nice and firm sports bra so the girls stay put, and barefoot, grippy socks or athletic shoes. No regular socks please, to prevent slipping.

+ Besides class, what else do you provide?

We provide all of the equipment you’ll need in class including your mat! You are welcome to bring your own yoga mat, ball, & kneeling pad. No outside weights. Cycling shoes are available for rent at the front desk for $2 (sizes ladies’ 5.5 - men’s 13). You can charge your card on file. You are more than welcome to wear your own cycling shoes as long as they have LOOK DELTA or SPD cleats as long as the cleats are tightened prior to class so they dont come off and get stuck in our pedals. We have a selection of cycling shoes available for purchase. They come with free cleats and installation.

+ Do I need special shoes for Bike?

We offer complimentary shoe rental if you are in your 2 week New Babe Special but have limited sizes (ladies’ 5.5 - men’s 13). After your New Babe Special is up, shoe rentals are $2 and we can charge your card on file. Our bikes are LOOK DELTA & SPD compatible and we can guide you in purchasing your own cycling shoes & cleats from our shop. If you are wearing any shoe with an external cleat (that includes our rental shoes, you are not permitted to wear them ANYWHERE other than in the cyclce studio on the rubber matted floor. This is for your safety so you don't slip, to protect the floors from scratches and to proect the shoes and cleats. Cleats are not supposed to be walked on. If you have a sneaker style cycling shoes like the ones we sell, you can wear those all over! Please be sure your cleats are tightened before class so they don't come off in our pedals, which can be unsafe for you and can also damage our pedals.

+ I am new to indoor cycling. Will someone help me set up my bike?

YES! If you are a new rider, please arrive NO LATER than 15 minutes before class so we can get you in your shoes, and show you how to set up your bike properly and clipped in for a safe and FUN ride! If you are new and don't make it early enough for us to get you safely set up on your bike, we will return your class to your account and have you schedule another time to try it out as to not hold up the class from starting on time and for your safety.

+ Do you accept walk-ins?

We can't guarantee a spot so enrolling ahead of time is a good idea but it's always worth a shot because people cancel right before class time and there are usually a few open spots. All paying and booking is done ONLINE here or via our GB App. You MUST have already created an account and pre-purchased classes as to not hold up the class from beginning on time.

+ What if I can't do everything in class? I haven't worked out in awhile.

One of the best things about our classes is that they can be adapted to any fitness level. We created GB with the mindset that even the unfit “fit in.” Take class at your own pace, if you need a break, take it, grab lower weights, take the modification. If you can’t do a certain move (yet), NO BIG DEAL! We are into community over competition and certainly not into perfection! Just do your best!

+ How often should I barre, bike or bounce?

We think a good even mix of Garage Barre, Bike, Bounce & Build classes is the perfect low impact, high intensity combo to give you crazy endorphins, sweat out toxins, make you stronger, increase your balance, feel good about yourself, induce confidence, & help you sleep better. Build is best to space out to 2-3 times per week and alternate with one of our other formats as you do need a day of rest between those classes.

+ Can I make the bike seat more comfy?

As a beginner, the bike seat requires a little getting used to. You’ll feel like a cowgirl fresh off the horse for the first few rides. During this phase, it sometimes helps to wear padded bike shorts or use a cushioned gel seat. In a short period of time you won't necessarily need either. We call it earning your #crotchcallus 😂😂😂

+ Do I need to create an account?

Yes, every participant MUST have an account with a signed waiver and pre-purchased classes before attending. You can do this online or on our Garage Barre + Bike App available in the iTunes App Store or the Google Play store.

+ Can I request a specific bike when booking?

Yes. You are able to view our Garage Bike studio map of numbered bikes when reserving your class and can reserve your preferred bike.

+ What do I do if I'm running late?

We will hold your spot up to exactly 2 minutes before the class begins, then, we will release all unclaimed spots to waitlisters in the order they arrived at the studio. You can call or text us if you're running late and we will hold your spot. If you are more than 5 minutes late we will not allow entrance to class for safety reasons.

+ What does a "W" mean when signing up for a class?

We have limited spots available to book per class. There are 20 extra spots available on the waitlist. When the schedule has a “W” by the class, that means it’s on a waitlist. You may put yourself on the waitlist and will be notified via email or push notifications from the app when you are transferred into the class (you MUST be subscribed to our emails or enable push notifications in the app to receive alerts). The system transfers waitlisters to open spots all the way up until an hour before class. Please be sure to check your email or app so you know to arrive for class. You will most likely get into class if you are on a waitlist. Please remove yourself from the waitlist if you do not plan on attending because someone behind you in line may want to come to class. If you get transferred into class from the waitlist and do not check and do not cancel or no show, you will be charged the late cancel or no show fees accordingly to your credit card on file. If the schedule has no sign up option or an "F" next to it, that simply means there are no spots in the class or the waitlist at the moment. Feel free to show up to the class you want to attend even if youre still on the waitlist. Often, there are spots available at class time and you will be allowed in if there is room.
